Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a very busy day at school today! There were many Valentine's Day activities and celebrations. Our friends were very excited to exchange their Valentines this morning (Thank you, Parents! We then went to our Valentine's Day dance, where we had SO much fun! We baked and decorated chocolate chip cupcakes and we made presents for our families today. Happy Valentine's Day!

Exploration of Numbers

This week we have been exploring different number centres in class. Some friends have been practicing their counting and other friends are making numbers by adding 2 to 3 different numbers together. 

Happy 100 Days of School!

We celebrated 100 days of school on Tuesday February the 10th! The students participated in many different counting activities throughout the day!

The Arctic in Our Classroom!

We have created the Arctic in our Dramatic Centre! The students were first asked what they wanted to turn our classroom into, and they were inspired by all the Winter artwork in our classroom. The majority of our students decided that wanted to create the Arctic! Special thanks to all the families for sending and lending us their resources from home so that we could build our Arctic!
